I have been interested in solar energy for a long time. A few years ago I even bought this domain. Still have it. www.deliveringthesun.com. It seemed like a great name. I still like it. But I think New England may not be the best place for solar arrays. This is not a pretty picture, but it does make a point. A solar array can be rendered ineffective by a mere 60" of snow. Just about 4 feet of snow in about 10 days. Barbeque Grill is no where to be found. Snow People sitting in our chairs. More than two feet of snow on the roof despite the wind gusts. Had to take this shot from the second floor window. Could not open the door on the lower level. Fun!!! Nikon D610, 1/125 sec at f/11, ISO 3200, 32mm, (28-300mm f3.5-5.6) Off camera flash fired - 7968
I played with water a lot today, dropping a cork into a glass more times than I would like to admit. Get a life you say? Appreciating things is sometimes as simple as slowing down. Water defying gravity is so serene and graceful, but you can't see it, unless you stop for just a moment and look. Nikon D610, 1/20 sec at f/27, ISO 100, 105mm (105mm f2.8) - 7566
