In preparation for a three-week trip in Italy, we are required to comply with International restrictions for baggage. Carry on is limited to 21.5" x 13.5" x 9" and 17 pounds. Really? I think there should be a technology exception. I am in a quandary as to how to fit camera, extra body, lenses, batteries, computer, 6TB of external disk, SD cards, cables, chargers, converters, tripods, GPS (with Italian maps), remotes, triggers, iPad, iPhone, external speaker, glasses, sun glasses and little bags of miscellaneous essentials. As thrilled as I am to spend the time traveling the back roads of Italy, and I am, next year will be a road trip!
