As I write this, it is pitch black outside except a war is brewing in the skies and electricity is tearing through the clouds. Pictures hardly do justice to the barrage of lighting crackling across the heavens. The National Weather Service is warning of wind gusts of 50 mph from this storm that is moving at 25 mph. I felt a little stupid after I read the warnings to stay indoors and away from open areas.
