The temperatures are dropping but the streams are still running. You can't tell, but the wind chill was near 20 degrees when this was taken because the wind was gusting to 40 miles per hour. I tried to photograph wind, but it is an elusive endeavor. This picture is looking east with the sun over my right shoulder. Taken from the west side of East Lake Waushacum in Sterling, MA. in the same area that the Weshacum (Nashaway) Indians lived in the 17th and 18th century.
