Maybe its my days growing up in mid-western towns where the rolling fields were everywhere and they faded off into the distance - not because they ended, but because the earth is round. In New England, fields are harder to find, so when I see them, I always pause for a moment flashing back to my childhood days of carefree exploration and infinite fields of green.
