As the sun falls low in the sky, this glass cupola has a glow as if it was a lighthouse. Cupola comes from the Latin cupula or cupa. It means cup or barrel and usually refers to a small glass dome usually atop another dome. This one sits atop a gazebo, that is a structure from which to gaze.
