I guess I needed another high altitude vista, so I returned to Mt. Wachusett this afternoon and found a different vantage point. You can view all directions from the peak of Mt. Wachusett, but to get this shot, you actually need to drop back down to about 1,400 feet to get this view of the water looking north. For those that don't know, Wachusett is the tallest point in Massachusetts (2006 feet) east of the beautiful Berkshires.
