There is something about the park bench that eerily whispers to me, "Hey you, come on over...have a seat." This one was no exception. I think it has always been like that for me. Park benches invite you to pause, if only for a moment. Contemplate. Meditate. Communicate - after all they also welcome you to share the moment with another. The sun is quickly setting here. For this bench, the offer of comfort will need to wait for another day.
