Even though we have been cooking Italian dishes all week and I am shopping for a Fiat 500 (seriously), we miss Italy very much. We haven't been back a week and it almost seems like a dream that we were even there. We needed to refresh our spirit and get a serious taste of Italy so we went to Boston and shopped at the Haymarket Farmers Market on Blackstone and Hanover Street. It wasn't Campo de' Fiori, and the variety of local vegetables were not what you can find in Rome, but it is pretty fantastic and the best we have. We ended with lunch at one of our favorites in the North End, Ristorante Sareceno. I must admit, if I can't be in Rome, Boston is a great place to be! Molto Bene!
