In early spring, the snow melt, rains and the slope of our property create an abundance of water in our back yard near the forest line. In the afternoon, the sun reflects in all the little pools. You can see life beginning in the brilliant green moss and you know that the salamanders, frogs and other little creatures are coming to life. The birds can once again wash themselves and drink a plenty. It is spring and the beginning. Nikon D610, 1/350 second, ISO 400, 78 mm, (28-300mm f/3.5-5.6) - 4734
